ISO 9001 Certification

Domsalla Building Services has been awarded the ISO 9001 certification for quality management.

This certification has only been achieved by about 5% of UK businesses & this prestigious award is supported by the government & recognised World-wide.

We have always been proud of the service we offer our clients and the way that we conduct our business. Now with the award of ISO 9001 certification, this has been confirmed by outside experts who are used to judging standards on a daily basis in a wide variety of trades & industries.

The assurance of quality is fundamental to all the work undertaken by Domsalla Building Services. All personnel at every level in the organisation's structure shall practice the procedures established. 

Environmental Award

Domsalla Building Services has been awarded the ISO 14001 certification for environmental systems management.

This is a prestigious & sought after award that is increasingly being demanded by customers from their supplies.

Although introduced many years ago only less than 1% of British businesses have been successful in gaining this ISO 14001 certification.

This is a measure of our achievements in joining this exclusive club.

Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS) Systems Management

OHSAS 18001 Certification 

Domsalla Building Services has been awarded OHSAS 18001 certification.

This certification has only been achieved by less than 1% of UK businesses and this prestigious award is supported by the government & recognised world-wide.

The achievement in receiving OHSAS 18001 certification is a particular tribute to the investment in people & training that enables Domsalla Building Services to provide efficient & occupational health & safety aware service to our customers.

Federation of Small Businesses

Domsalla Building Services is a member of the Federation of Small Businesses.

The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. 

Gas Safe Register

Gas Safe Register was founded in 1970 as the Confederation for the Registration of Gas Installers and was given the task of ensuring that gas work was carried out safely and to a high standard. A UKAS accredited scheme was duly developed and tailored for the six registered Certified Bodies, to the needs of the consumer and industry.

To gain UKAS accredited certification under this scheme:

• Gas operatives must demonstrate gas safety competence by successfully completing nationally agreed assessments, carried out at an approved assessment centre.
• Gas Safe Register will only accept Certificates of Competence that have been issued through the certification schemes.
• Certificates of Competence are only issued by Certification Bodies that have been accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.
• The scheme has been adopted by industry at a rapid rate with over 47,000 gas installation businesses employing approximately 98,000 gas-fitting operatives that are currently registered.

ContructionLine

A register for pre-qualified suppliers. Constructionline is a public private partnership between the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI) and Capita Business Services. As a national online database, it is the UK's largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. Its aim is to improve efficiencies for buyers and suppliers in the construction industry, specifically by reducing the duplication of work and administration relating to the process of pre-qualifying suppliers for construction contracts.

National House Building Corporation

National House Building Corporation

A Government recognised body to regulate the compliance of building.

In order to become a member of the NHBC we had to build our first house under their supervision to qualify. We did this 6 years ago.

Since then we built many more houses including a block of 13 flats which has gained us over a period of time higher ranking within the NHBC.

Being on the NHBC register allows us to give a 10 year buildmark cover on new & newly converted properties to protect home buyers, instilling customers with added confidence in the quality of their new home.

Domsalla Building services have been awarded contractors health & safety assessment scheme certification having demonstrated compliance with, and sound management of, current basic health & safety legislation.
