The flooding of Lewes was very extensive and the worst disaster scene we had witnessed. Hundreds of houses were affected including the Shops & the Brewery. Many were listed buildings. The whole area was a sad sight.

During recent storms, The Outer Hebrides experienced an extremely bad storm which caused lots of structural damage. An Insurance Company asked us to send 10 Roofers to Stornaway to carry out Emergency Roof Repairs.

Storm 2007

We were called to this house near East Grinstead, Sussex on Thursday. The winds were gusting up to 85 mph, which brought down the 360 year old oak tree, which weighed around 34 tonnes. The tree caused extensive damage to the roof of the house and internal walls.

Folkestone Earthquake

On Saturday 28th April 2007, some of the men and myself were in the yard sorting materials for the coming week. The phone rang and a voice said "can you take some emergencies, there's a lot of damage in Folkestone due to an earthquake". We loaded up the vans and drove to Folkestone.
